the RTX 2080 and 1080Ti are about the same in performance. RTX is currently useless, and the performance drops for having ray tracing on is not worth the extra money for most people. and you can pick up a 1080ti for around $600 USD on ebay, which is about $100 less than GTX 1080Ti. Just because your opinion doesn't agree with someone else's doesn't mean it's invalid

2070 is about the same as a 1080. You can play 1440p on a 2070, but you would have to lower the settings on more demanding games to achieve the 144 fps you desire. you can easily get 144fps at ultra settings at 1080p on most if not all games

A 2070 will be able to run 1080p 144hz no problem whatsoever, running a lower quality with higher refresh rates is better than higher resolution with a lower refresh rate, especially in e-sports titles like he said he'd be playing.

Ah, my bad, failed to see that it was an IPS panel. Can't really compare an IPS to a TN

Not sure if youre open to other options, but Dell makes an equivalent 24 inch 1440p 165hz monitor for over $200 cheaper, just thought i'd throw that out there

it was most likely closer to $2500. In the description he said that he paid $750 for the GPU, but in the part list, it says $1400 at the time of me writing this. So subtract $700 or so and that should be what it would cost if you got the parts at normal price.

How easy was wall mounting this case? And how do you even do so? Love the Destiny 1 theme, wish that D2 lived up to the hype

it will be a while before you can find a gtx 1070 in stock anywhere for a reasonable price. Cryptocurrency miners are driving the prices way up for all graphics cards, and they are in a very short supply anywhere
