ocing was easy, no issues at all the board i have, i have both a 1600x build with this tomahawk b350 board and a 1700x with the asus prime b350 plus both amazing boards.
even so my 5820k had way smoother gameplay than my 1700x im gettin bad fps drops and bad over fps on maps like Amiens and it doesnt add up, the 1700x is supposed to be just as good.
Antec 1250 it's an amazing product basically Corsair but cheaper
Nice build man I just built a 1700x my self. I'm looking around trying to find out if anyone with a ryzen 1700 is playing bf1 because I'm getting some bad fps with my ryzen build.
I really hope it has to do with the chip still no being fully optimized to all games, for some reason my 1700x is at 70 percent usage on just bf1 alone its just not making sense. On my 5820k i could have 30 things open plus bf1 running and barely hit 70% usage.
I have multiple builds, 5820k with a 1070 and it runs bf1 2 times better which makes no sense at all.
Its really nice to hear that you found something that pushes you away from a rough path. Glad to see you have an eye for creativity. Well done!
Well I built a new PC now will post soon i7 5820k
Nope its working fine its actually pretty cool inside
XD thanks, ya i was like did someone f up and drop a psu in here lol.
What you need help with Budd if u have a budget like mine go with this exact build but I have an sad which is more expensive, you can still run Attila fairly well with an i3 since your GPU is much more important for gaming, if say u were going with a 290 or gtx 980 than a better CPU would be needed.
Lol right I will do that, its funny cuz I had a corsair 500 PSU then I opened that case and was like -_0, MOM GET THE CAMERA!
Tbh I don't play many demanding game s, mostly mobas like dota, strife, lol. But as I said I would have loved an amd CPU but the dude I'm selling it to wouldn't go with amd like he would not have payed a penny if I dropped one in there
Actually I have 16 now and it works damn well lol I don't know either I had extra so I dropped em in and its working really well. Why do you ask?
Thanks for all the info guys, the cooler I had no idea why I took i just liked the way it looked I guess the stock looks so bleh, so I will grab another PSU I didn't feel too comfortable with this one.
Tbh I wanted to with an amd but the guy I'm selling this to just wouldn't have it, why, I have no idea.
Already sold it XD, lol but ya the new one i just built i have it elevated off the ground, thank you for the insight tho it was only temporary didn't want something that expensive on such a small desk chances of falling were very high since the desk shakes so easily. appreciate your kindness :).
i realized my mistake after the fact lol , and ya i was a little to eager. I have 3 people who want to buy this already so my next build will be more prepared.
Thank you for your insight though, I'm only a beginner at this but I did enough research to be satisfied with this board there's too many options out there for me to go through 'em all
yes, I totally understand but its something I would probably come to see after some time, but wouldn't you say the difference is minuscule? Its not something I would totally stress about I mainly grabbed this board for its efficiency and its overall look. I don't have the time and luxury to really spend my days understanding all the motherboards or even the one I have know just that I can put it together and it would work fine and tweaking wont be such a hassle.
To each his own Asus rampage X99 is a future motherboard either you like it or you don't, claiming its "not good" is a tad off and I have heard more good than bad from this beast, Over clocking on this thing is like adding 1+1 it also makes your life easy. I guess its just my opinion I have more faith in this motherboard than other motherboards out there atm.
Thanks so much for your help, gave me a lot to think about. It also crossed my mind that going with water cooling fans is a risk, but does not take as much space. I am willing to spend around 1.2k on a processor in the future maybe a month tops. Was planning on using the 5820k as temporary than switching over, since ill probably be putting this computer under a lot of pressure. software development/programming/video editing/game editing/streaming/ Might operate some game servers from here as well. You got any good CPU coolers with a clean look in mind?
Thanks all that helps a lot I under stand all the tips but the air cooling not so much, is it safer or over all better to go with? Also as I asked the other individual what are your thoughts on and i7 extreme processor.
Sweet thank you the Asus rampage just arrive today so ill be getting my processor tomorrow but what are your thoughts on an i7 Extreme?
I do plan on making many upgrades in the future, I generally wanted to start with a cheap GPU and upgrade to a better one later in the future and grab 3 GTX 980s since this board can fit that many and ill possibly raid since I was told its better then SLI but im not to sure the person had a full understanding of what I was talking about, so please give some advice I am learning as I go. I know this might not be a good idea for a beginners build but I wont have time in the future to actually build one that's always up to date, I was also planning on getting an i7 Extreme processor since I don't want mine to ever fall behind for a long time so this is why I went with this motherboard
Well that is why I asked if those parts are suitable right? Give me something that helps. Maybe some advice would help.
