uhm the card I have right now is an old gtx 660. I'm still waiting on the 1080 TI. :( The cooler install was easy peezy. The main difference I noticed between the two coolers is how much quieter the Cryorig is. I was only using one fan on the Phanteks also so it's a fair comparison. The temps are 5-10C cooler for me also!
It's running great, I love my little PC. The case came with a 2-to-1 fan splitter for the 2 included fans. I don't use it since I have the Silverstone hub. Also, I installed the GP14 and my Cryorig H7 will be delivered today. I'll use Arctic MX4 on it, and will see how much of a difference this duo is compared to the Phanteks TIM and cooler.
This case is fantastic. Only problem was I found one of the screws on the bottom bracket to be super tightened. I was struggling for 2 nights to unscrew it. But otherwise, it's pretty straight-forward to build in. Everything goes in place as it should. :D
Yup, the clear side panel is good looking. Hoping for a speedy shipping route!
I chose the Acer because I read that their quality control is better than the ASUS. They're both IPS panels and suffer the same issues. My monitor has slight glow on the bottom right, but its only noticeable when gaming in the dark or watching a dark scene. It's also not an issue if I set the brightness to <60. Currently at 40 brightness.
I didn't consider the Dell because it was a TN panel, and to me I value the colors more than response time. Since I'm not a huge FPS gamer, the 3ms difference in response time won't ruin my gaming experience.
30fps stable, I hope! ;)
Haha I know!!! I kept changing fan positions and all that jazz.
Thanks for the measurements! The album is a big help, too. :)
I have a really, really similar build in the works right now. Yours looks amazing. What are your cablemod lengths? The stock SF600 cables are so god damn irritating to work with. :/
Thank you friend! :)
Is the 24-pin the only cable that needs an extension? im building on the same case with that psu!
