Well, with my last build there were people telling me there weren't enough pictures. And remember, 500 pictures for more then 8 weeks of hard work is never to much.

Thanks! If I had to sell it, probably around 200 dollars. Just to get my money back for the LEDs and fans.

How does the PCI-E rizer work out for you? Do you have any problems with EMI? +1 for the awesome idea!

Thermals are excellent. Wood does not impact temps as far as i know. But I have 3 120mm fans blowing directly over my components, that could also explain my excellent temps.

The cost of all the build materials would be around 100 dollars. And I actually didnt realize that the total cost of the fans and LED's is 220 dollars LOL!

That 10cm thickness is for the whole case. Imagine something like a silverstone rvz01, but then with a ATX motherboard and room for up to 6 SSD's.

I'm building a new one upcoming summer. It will hold the same hardware (ATX Mobo, 35 cm GPU) but is only 10 cm thick.

Wanna know a little secret? I just started with new blueprints for another wooden case. Some specs: Dimensions are 40x38x10 cm, yes you read that good, 10 cm thickness. It will hold a full size ATX motherboard. Has space for a 32 cm GPU, 5 SSD's and one HDD. I won't paint this one, all original wood colour, combined with more then 2 metres of rgb leds that are controllable by cpu temps, loads, or other parameters. Excited? It's planned for upcomming summer, starting on the 4th of July.

Use LED strips and stick them to the bottom of your case. Dril a hole or use the lowest pci expansion slot for the cables. Seems not so hard to me. Any further questions?

Combinatie daarvan.

Benchmarked it against my seagate 7200 RPM HDD (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/KXbj4D) and the performance difference is less than 5%, this one is much quieter and energy efficient though.

Depends on your skills with wood. I am pretty good working with wood, and it took me a year. Though its not easy building a beauty.
