I have the fx 6300 in my rig with the same type of cooler you have and mine is overclocked to 4.0ghz and if I were to upgrade I would either go intel (boring) or wait for and zen and buy a new mb and gpu but yeah fm2+ is sticking around you might actually have the right idea

:) I like amd too I just like them equally I should have recommended an amd fx cpu but once you buy one you are stuck with it so no use do long that

Everything you said makes sense and I already gave you a +1 on the build but I would go for the +2 if I could

Preface: I like this build but it would be cool to see the inside

The cpu doesn't really make sense in this build as its pretty much as fast as an intel pentium so yeah...
                The cooler is good
Thermal paste really doesnt matter unless you are trying to get some insane 4.8 ghz overclock
The motherboard is good but you have the best amd cpu for that socket so its not upgradeable at all
The mixed branding on ram, mixed latency could make some good money selling the gskill and kingston
                The harddrive is good
The gpu is great as i would say xfx is the evga of amd cards and they look amazing
The case is a case so no comment
The power supply is fine but you could have gotten away with a 650 watt or higher on the 290x http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm (for base requirements)
The cd drive is great for loading windows and thats it if you want to take it out to save some noise
The wifi chip is a bit expensive as they are all exactly the same (unless you have google fiber)
The case fans... really most cases only need 2 one in the front one in the back although i like the pretty colors

I like this build but it would be cool to see the inside(idk why the text is big)

When I first installed it the other way it "fit" but only with hours of finger pinching and 1 impossible to tighten screw not on there

I might post a picture of how it was before but when it was to the right it blew at that exaust fan and for some reason it created a little wind for vortexy thing and no hot air was going out that way. I should say I had it like that for over 6 months and when I rotated it I got an 5 degree lower cpu temp

The title made me think it was intel and nvidia build which is why the list confused me, oh wait what why the $300 drive that is no better than a $80 ssd, and that case it's just not worth it when the 210 is the same price, no,no,no not crossfire just get 1 big card not two dinky cards. I want to +1 just for lighting but I can't put myself to that.

Did some one say you could dual graphics an apu with an r7 no no only kalveri CPUs will dual graphics with an r7 so you won't see any improvement over 750ti if you go for the 260x and where did this even get started no apu can crossfire with r7 260x it is only the 240 and 250 that can crossfire

I'm saying you can get 60fps on i3 gtx 650, there is a good chance you can get 100-120fps which with that monitor makes no difference do to refresh rate but nice build other than price.

This is on the not so good side of the $1500 builds I've seen on here but you win in one aspect. You could have done a build equal or better than this for under $1000 thanks to the 64gb ssd and the motherboard. The good news is it will run well on basically every game, but honesty you can do that with an i3 and a gtx 650.
