Cheap 1TB HDD like most others these days. No real speed difference compared to any other HDD that I've noticed.

Don't buy it. it's done its job for this long, but thats probably a record, it makes horrendous grinding noises often, the only perk is it was cheap.

At least it's 1TB in size... nothing more to say... it's not the fastest, not the quietest and only has SATA-II.

I forgot where I got it from but I just use it for Shadowplay recordings for my YouTube videos.

Is now slowly falling apart, so we switched to an ssd as the main boot drive.

I wouldn't recommend this hard drive. The stock is very old from 2008. The noise was getting unbearable and I used crystal disk info to turn AAM settings all the way down. The drive now has better sound but the start up time is very slow.

Definitely the worst part in my build. It’s unbelievably loud. It rattles so loudly that I can hear it over my fans at 100% speed from far away. I can hear it through my closed headset with music on. Don’t get this.

This thing works fine. Boot times are under a minute, and temps are amazing. But my god the noise this thing produces is terrible. All you hear is ticking and grinding whenever you access it.
