If you're gonna buy this 2070 super over another one, get it for the looks. It's sexy as hell especially with a vertical mount.
I got about 65-68*C max on this thing with 100% usage. Super quiet too

good looking 1440p card. please do not use Geforce Experience to update the drivers.... it broke my boost clock (unusable) had to be fixed with DDU.
otherwise its a very nice card that doesnt get too hot while playing AAA games.

Want ray tracing? Can't afford 2080? Get a 2070.
This card looks nice and performs nice, too. Got me my frames and all that nice stuff. plus the RGB on the side is pretty.

This is a really good looking card. The back plate looks really clean and the temps are pretty good. This thing is also essentially silent. It also pretty well priced compared to some other cards in its range. My only minor complaint is that the rgb isn't super bright and the software is mediocre.

First I'd like to say that this specific card is no longer available, the 8GC model. However, Gigabyte has released the 8GD model, which is what I have. The only difference as far as I know is that the 8GD removed the USB-C port in the back of the card. I believe that was chiefly used for VR, but it appears they elected to remove that input. I've yet to really put this card through its paces, but so far it hasn't showed any signs of discomfort with the games I do play. I'm happy to report no catastrophic failures or even minor artifacts. I believe the early tragedies with this card have been sorted out. Still, you may notice I gave this card 4 out of 5 stars, but I'd feel more inclined to give it 4.5 out of 5 simply because of the RGB lights. That sounds like small beans, but it's a well known fact that Gigabyte's RGB technology is lackluster. I've been fortunate, RGB Fusion 2.0 seems to agree with my card and I have no problems switching the colors (compared to my G1 Gaming 1080 which hardly worked), but the light is quite dim. Considering Gigabyte's reputation, I'm not surprised there was some sort of issue with my light, but for a card this expensive, I feel like they should have made it seem like they invested at least some time into it.
Beyond that, the card is of course all white, so be aware of fiendish dust. Also it's a three fan card, which is prominently featured in the product picture, but nothing ever quite prepares you for how bulky this card truly is. I'm happy to report very minor snag with my card, so the weight isn't outlandish, but do be aware of dimensions if you're considering this card.

So far hasn't had any problems. I keep it at 30% fan speed all the time. Under load it goes to 60 C while the fan also goes to 60%. Info based off of MSI Afterburner.
Getting a white one cost me extra obviously. Also it's Nvidia so that was also extra. At the time I bought it, it performed better in the games I wanted to play(Metro Exodus) than the 5700 XT. Also I didn't want any driver issues.
So far it has worked without any problem.
