I´m able to run core at 5,1 Ghz, cache at 4,9 Ghz with 1,36V (delidded) so i´m really happy with this piece of sillicon and it´s total gaming monster.

Awesome. Specifically put my build off a few months for it, definitely worth it in my opinion. I feel like my PC will keep up for much longer than if I had gone with my original plan of a i7-7700K. Not overclocked yet, but stays much cooler than I expected (idle around 25C, gaming around 55C, and highest I saw was with Prime 95 it was around 65C), so I may put an all core clock at 4.7 and see how it goes.

Great Cpu, you can't say otherwise; but the low stocks give it a premium feel, at the premium cost of up to 150 Aud, or 134 Usd over the MSRP . Besides that, its a great overclocker, as long as you get rid of that toothpaste they put on the heat spreader, if you want to void the warranty. I have not delidded and are not planning to any time soon.

EDIT: Corrected very hot, to inherently warm.

No regrets here, but admittedly the chip is inherently warm. Although a major contributing factor to this is my board.

The i7-8700k was the obvious choice because it offered the best middle ground from two worlds, Gaming and Productivity. Its Multi-Threaded performance is within margin of error of the productivity inclined AMD Ryzen 7 series chips and its single-threaded performance is vastly superior to what any other chip is capable of offering today.

A pure beast. Two extra cores with the same powerful single core performance. Not exactly happy with the current supply issues driving the prices higher, but you can't blame it on the chip itself.

Runs really hot while overclocked but performs well. IGP is helpful for diagnosing video card issues. Also marked up everywhere because Intel's production line seems to be running in a time warp.

Huge improvement over my i7 2600
