Awesome pickup at $80. BIOS menu seems pretty intuitive, the OC genie function is very specific as to which processor you must have for it to work automatically, but MSI has released plenty of alternate BIOS updates that change the OC settings for different processors, even Skylake's non-K series.
The majority of the SATA connectors are at a 90 degree angle to the motherboard, which may or may not make cable management more difficult for you. It certainly makes adding new drives without removing the motherboard a hassle, as you can't see what you're doing at all when you're trying to plug the cables in.
It isn't the best Z170 board you can find but you get what you pay for, and I paid significantly less for this one.

Picked this up for $79 on a new egg sale. Works fine and have had no issues. The color needs to be black instead of a brownish tint. But, you can't see it in the case.

Has loads of features and was easy to cable manage with the boards layout!

Plenty of room for all of my components, only wish it came with more than one USB 3.0 header

Just perfect. It has features I'm not interested in, thought to overclock the processor, but it has all the slots I needed, specially all the fan connectors and USBs 3.0 + 2.0 I wanted.

A great budget board. I personally use it for gaming and it fits all of my parts perfectly.

Has some nice features and is possible over clock a non k cpu on (with hacked bios). Is an ugly brown color but its kind of hard to see with cards and fans covering it

Great motherboard, and it looks really nice, but do note that if you are using an S340 with this motherboard, you're going to have to mess with the case fan cables, since on the S340, the fans are connected to a bigger fan plug, but for some reason I couldn't find that on this motherboard, luckily it was a logical easy fix.

Fantastic mobo. At a similar price point you will find boards with H170A framework, fewer slots, and a base RAM speed of 2133 (This board has a base of 2400). The upgraded version is the PC Mate, but I frankly can't see why you'd get that one. It has some additional ports, like an HDMI, but if you have a GPU then you don't need those anyway. Don't waste money on features that you won't use. Often goes on a good sale.
