After using my previous keyboard, a steelseries 7G, decided that I didn't require the numpad as much as it taking up space and also widening the length between my WASD controls and the mouse.

Excellent for gaming, don't buy this if you are going to type with this keyboard!!

I got this version for three reasons. One: I have very limited desk space, and any space I can save is a plus. Two: even if I had all the desk space in the world, my preferred posture while gaming brings my mouse so close to the ten keys, I kept accidentally click on something by hitting the keyboard on my old computer. Three: I don't need ten-keys. All they did on my old keyboard was collect dust. This keyboard is wonderful; compact, the rapidfire switches feel very good, and the RGB lighting is very vibrant.

This is the second TKL mechanical keyboard that I have purchased. My first one was the Razer BlackWidow 2013 TE. I bought this because it is compact and has RGB. However, I realized in the end that Speed Silver switches are not for me. I will soon replace this with another mechanical keyboard, preferably with Brown switches.

So I was skeptical buying this as it has no num pad and mechanical keys. I love the feel of mechanical but hate their obnoxious noise. After getting used to the layout this keyboard is pretty fantastic. The wrist pad seems a little hard at first but it's actually the perfect mix for great hand support.

A little pricey, for the cost you could probably get some fancy "skynet" type thing, but I'm happy with how simple yet elegant this keyboard is.

It's a Cherry keyboard. What more do you want.

    Tactile and low actuation travel.

slightly better for gaming than typing but not by much.
