Cooler runs pretty quiet and the provided fans move a lot of air. The RGB works well but is slightly dim / hard to see at an angle.

Overkill for Ryzen 1600 but looks amazing with Meshify case

The ONLY AIO available (IMHO) that truly celebrates the CPU - without having to incorporate a manufacturer's branding into its main design.

Sure, the Kraken looks great too - if you're willing to put up with the NZXT logo emblazoned across its centre; and the same is generally true for all the other CPU block designs I've seen, AIO or custom.

The Deepcool CaptainEX range, then, is a breath of fresh air.

It works really well, looks fabulous and comes will so much 'stuff' in the box that Deepcool has got you covered, whatever your build demands.

I was also really happy with their personal response when I contacted them - I was trying to find where I could buy this kit in Poland (where I live and work), though in the end, I had to get one shipped from the UK (the cheapest eBay option at the time). But, what this showed me was that this company actually cared - I didn't just get a standard answer; I got an actual reply from one of their people who was obviously trying to help me as best he could. That kind of service is rare and is to be cherished.

Then, when the kit arrived, I realised that this level of care was also apparent in the kit; the way it was packaged, the quality of its manufacturing.

The only slight niggle was that the packaging is slightly misleading - while the CPU block is true RGB, it is only capable of one colour at a time, not the 'rainbow' effect that the packaging suggests. But I already knew this, so it wasn't a let down for me. And the overall design more than makes up for this minor shortcoming (again, IMHO).

To sum up:

Quality + Looks / Nice Price = Happiness

Things have been suprisingly...chill so far. Let's hope they stay that way.

Puns aside, I've actually been very impressed so far not only by the overall performance and efficiency of the unit but also by the small details. I really ended up liking the included rail style Mobo mounting system. It looks pretty sweet but is very adjustable and easy to work with. The cooling performance has been amazing so far. Temps stay constantly cool and as part of my PC's overall ventilation system the push fans on the radiator do a surprisingly good job at helping keep my case temps down as well with a slightly more aggressive fan curve put in place.

The two included fans that attach to the radiator in particular were particularly impressive. Good looking, quiet, and most importantly effective. I went in to this build assuming they would be scrapped and replaced by some Noctuas but instead found myself wondering where I could get more.

Only issue with the cooler so far is actually the RGB. I've been having issues getting it to play nice with the rest of my system although I'm not 100% sure it's not Aura being generally terrible or an issue with my RGB header. It reacts and responds with the others however it seems the colors are always different like it is shifted around the color spectrum slightly and the default RGB inputs are different. Only thing I can imagine is either a pin is switched on my mobo, or within the female end of the RGB cable itself. More testing required.

I loved this cooler. Initially, I also thought that I'd broken this too - but then I realised that I had the fan intake the wrong way around. Well less than 30 degrees on idle and a MASSIVE difference in load temp between my initial wraith spire cooler (air) and this. Maxed out at 70 degrees on Load with my 3.8 OC.

Solid cooler, loved the black and the white versions before it. Expensive, especially at $130 but very pretty, personally I think it looks better than the NZXT Kraken x62 and TT Water 3.0 for a lower price but comparable performance. The glass tube is a bit scary and they've been known to leak but which AIO hasn't?

Quiet, effective and sexy! Installation is a breeze and I even switched CPUs easily.

I cant really say a whole lot about this cooler as I have only had it for about 5 days. But the things I can say, are that it successfully got me to 3.9GHz. Comes with a 4 port fan hub, and a RGB LED strip. Bracket was slightly hard to get on, but I just hadn't tightened everything all the way. I haven't had any issues with it and the installation was fairly straightforward.

This cooler has mixed reviews, but I got a pretty good deal on it. Got the RGB cooler and 5 RGB fans in a combo from Deep Cool for $140. It's cooling great, max temps 60-65c with the OC. We'll see how it holds up.

Feels like a high quality product! Very well thought out and careful to details, the instructions are easy to understand.
