I was a firm believer in 4k until I got this monitor, now I can't imagine playing on a non-ultrawide. The 100hz refresh and freesync are icing on an already perfect cake. Lastly, this thing is a STEAL for the current price, can't recommend highly enough.

from completed build Ryzen 7 2700X TerraRyzen
Replaced my Dell Ultrasharp 25 U2518D with this beast. For my all-AMD build, I wanted a FreeSync capable monitor that not only was an ultrawide, but 100Hz and 3440x1440 screen resolution. The 8ms response time doesn't bother me and it fits wonderfully on my Ergo Elements standing desk. I had to turn down settings in some of my games but gaming at 3440x1440 is definitely doable with an RX580 (a beast 1080p card btw). It was one of my main final pieces. All that is left is a Vega 64/Radeon VII upgrade to drive this beast. Microcenter had this at a great price, and I added the 2 year replacement plan from Microcenter so I don't have to deal with RMAs direct from the manufacturer. If anything ever goes wrong, I can just go back to the store in person and get a new one/replacement monitor.

from completed build Editing and Gaming Build
Final addition to my setup, and I'm not disappointed. A lot larger than I expected, didn't have anything to base the 34 inches off of. I went quality over refresh rate because of video editing, and it looks so much better than the 720p monitor I was using with this computer before I got the monitor. Only complaints: port hiding panel on the back is nearly impossible to get on after taking it off to plug everything in and the monitor sticker on the bottom left a sticky residue when I peeled it off. Not a big deal. Overall incredible monitor and really good value.
