from completed build MSI Carbonator (C8r)
Awesome board to work with. SO MANY HEADERS. If I didn't already have the Aquaero I could have easily handled all nine of my fans through the board. I had two USB 3.0 headers and one USB 3.1 type C on the board which was in addition to the same number of USB channels on the back I/O. 2 USB 2.0 headers for your 'other' devices. Four RGB headers. There's no real problem with sizing for the I/O shield as my 140mm fan was right next to it.
First board I had worked at first but died after I had a working leak free loop. ARGH! However, MSI came through on the RMA and I had a new board in two weeks. Very easy to work with.

from completed build Lucky Dragon
The only quality 300-series board in stock at the time from the local computer store. From my (admittedly short) time using it, it seems to be perfect for my 8700K. It's also got a lucky dragon on it. One point deducted for the simply obscene white LED's that show which DIMM slots are occupied (why?) and cannot be turned off in BIOS. Even my ASUS B350 Strix Ryzen board let me turn off the stupid red LED it had on it. Black electrical tape fixed the problem.

from completed build Gaming PC update - Things have changed in 7 years
Great Motherboard although it came sealed, The M.2 screw was loose and the 3.1 gen USB port was bent.
The subtle RGBs are nice

Nice, clean motherboard. If you care about looks, very neutral look that can fit almost any color scheme. If you have a bigger graphics card, don't worry, it'll cover the cheesy looking MSI dragon.

from completed build Codename: Carbon
Perfect upgrade board for my taste. Built in backplate and lightning support for front panel for the newest cases coming out.

from completed build Long March (i7-9700K, RTX 2070S)
A solid board with plenty of headers, SATA ports, and other bells and whistles. The M.2 SSD heat sink is a nice touch, and it comes with an integrated I/O shield. Working well so far, and it comes with plenty of room to play around or add new things later.

from completed build I call this my Red/White build
It works fine but the placement of some of the headers are somewhat head scratching.
