Absolute powerhouse, once overclocked she really sings

Very good price for its performance. certainly not faster than the intel cpu's, but gets the job done in multitasking and games. You will only see the performance difference in benchmarks, but who looks at benchmarks all day long?

Runs cool and on low voltage. Easy to overclock.

CPU: Lot's of bang for buck, hadn't had any issues with it. All I do is play Fallout, and watch Youtube.

Perfect for $110. Great for streaming, stays decently cool, and plays games flawlessly in unison with my R9 380 4GB.

Great processor, works better for 970 boards. Don't expect a huge OC from this chip without extreme cooling and high voltage. I'm stable at 4.7ghz and 1.55 VCORE

jaijaij 24 points 38 months ago

Does the job perfectly. Can be stretched up to 4.7 GHZ as some forums mentioned. Current setup is 4.2 GHZ without any hardware issues, running smooth and very stable.

from completed build Grandma to the rescue!

Lets start things off with the CPU: I chose this CPU because I needed 4 cores and I knew I was not going to upgrade in a long time. This is the reason I did not go with an i3 or a G3258. It handles every game perfectly and I have not seen any bottlenecks! I almost forgot to mention that I oced it to 3.4 ghz. Seems to be stable, but I dont want to overclock it more because of the power supply.

Amazing CPU! I wanted to be able to have fun an O/C this bad boy. I was not let down. ON air i had it nice at 4.2ghz. After fitting the water cooler, she now runs at 4.5ghz, quietly (25c idle).

Great multitasking value on a budget. Extreme overclockability.
