from completed build World's smallest Ryzen build [4.2 litres]
Their shipping time for the AM4 mounting kit sucks so bad. Their support did not respond to my suggestion of having a distribution center in the US. I couldn't even purchase the kit anywhere since it isn't available anywhere for purchase! If I had any other choice, I wouldn't have got this, but this is the only cooler that would fit in my case.

Love it. Wish it was rated for higher TDP. Reasonably quiet. If you have to use low profile air coolers, this should be among this list of top contenders. Would buy again if the scenario called for it.

from completed build Quiet, moveable SFF/HTPC desktop for gaming/work
The fan that comes with the Ryzen 5 is hopelessly large for an HTPC case (Raven RZV02B). I replaced it with the Noctua NH-L9a, which fits perfectly on the motherboard. The cooler is really hefty and pretty, is well-packaged (actually, the packaging is a work of art) and well-documented. Everything you would expect from Noctua.

Installation required putting the motherboard upside down on the inverted heat sink and screwing the backplate into the stack. By far the least elegant mounting procedure I've endured. Pretty quiet even without the low noise adapter I lost.

This little cooler, while small will surprise you. I used this in a SFF build to cool a Ryzen 5 1600x. Adding in a bit of liquid metal this cooled that 1600x so that at peak it never topped 65c. Which is insane for such a small cooler.

Absolutely the finest piece of fan hardware I've ever touched. Smooth, quiet, and dare I say it, dignified. I was able to easily get the mounting adapters I needed for it to fit my motherboard since they were out of the model that came with said adapters (and I can certainly see why it would be such a popular product). I will definitely be buying Noctua again in the future. Plus the packaging is A+, I really felt like I was unboxing a pair of $500 cuff links or something.
