Nice gaming hdd.

This is the previous generation Black HDD. I had a case of terrible timing and purchased this while they were clearing out the last of them to make way for the current gen of Black drives. This drive is on the loud side, so I have to dock it a star for that. I get good performance though, and I expect this drive to last for quite some time.

I have used this HDD in all of my builds. There's one sitting in my 4770k build another sitting in my wife's 6850k build. At its price point of $80 bucks, you can't really beat the quality finish of this SSD.

Standard HDD pulled from a previous machine. Yet to make a dent in the memory, runs like a charm.

they say this one lasts longer than a Seagate.

Performs fine, seems to be doing exactly what you would expect. Given the ever decreasing cost I would probably just go for a larger SSD next time.

Actually failed on me a few years back. But, the 5 year warranty was still active so WD sent me a new drive for free.

12/10/19 For an old, drive I got for Christmas that sat in my cousin's trunk for a year this old drive has been very good to me for the two years that I have had it. But because I, nor the previous owner know how old it is I will be buying two 2Tb SSDs by next summer. 1 to back up this drive and the other for new save files.
