Cherry MX switches feel great. The red LED's complement my red/black build nicely. Solid keyboard at a solid price.

I originally bought a Redragon K552 as a budget mechanical keyboard. Browsing Best Buy, I came across this guy and picked it up with the understanding that I could return it in a week if I didn't like it. It's been a week since, and I never even considered returning. The MX red keys are so pleasant to type on. The difference between a budget mechanical keyboard and the STRAFE really can't be exaggerated.

As for features, there is a button to adjust backlight brightness (including turning off) and a windows lock key for gaming. I haven't wanted anything more (in fact I appreciate the relative simplicity of this in comparison to some of the other mechanical keyboards out there), but if you do, Corsair Cue offers plenty more customization, including lighting effects like rain.

If all of that sounds good to you, I can't recommend this enough. It does come with an option for MX browns, so test in person to decide which you prefer before pulling the trigger.

Best keyboard I have ever used. Real cherry MX keys. The textured gaming keys are great too.

The Cherry MX Red Switches are AMAZING. The corsair CUE program lets you customize the red backlight and you can choose from 7 presets. Never going back to membrane key switches. Beware, the secondary functions on the keycaps have been switched for the number keys, comma, period. equals, dash, semicolon, apostrophe, and slashes

Originally had a CMStorm Devastator, pictured in the build. I splurged a bit and picked up this piece of work. Absolutely love it, don't want to go back to the older style ; the switch feels perfect for both typing and gaming, and the keycaps feel real solid.
