I have yet to really test this cpu cooler with an overclock. So far, with the i5 4690k running at 3.5, idle temps have been about 32 and during a game they only go to about 44. Eventually, I am planning on doing a light 4.0 overclock and I'm sure this cooler will perform well. The installation was really easy.
The best All-in-one cooler I have tried on my FX-8350. I had a large dual tower Silverstone Heligon H01 before it and the cooling improvement was great.
Corsair is very well known in the market, has been around for a long time. This cooler was a bit of a overspending since at full throttle @4.4GHz the highest CPU temperature never rose beyond 60C. Under Linux the water pump is at a constant speed but we connected the radiators to the MB fan control so the Asus X99-A can successfully tweak the CPU temperature.
The cooler itself is great It keeps my 5820k very cool even if it is overclocked. But the corsair link software is total garbage. It uses up a lot of resources and fails to work most of the time. Also it doesn't always report the temperatures of the temp sensors very accurately all of the time.
