this is one of the Fastest SSD's and yes you pay for it...Flip side in reality with a clock timer you will not see a difference in the speed from the 850 evo in windows start up or in games, so save the cash and use it else where. the product it's self easy to install and works great, awesome feature no cords...this is more of a bragging rights type of drive..

IT IS FAST AS HELL I HAVE HAD 3 SECOND BOOT UP FROM THE BIOS.

My first foray into M.2 drives and while this was a bit pricey as its new technology, I've had no regrets. I wanted to do away with any SATA or clutter so having both my drives (OS and storage) right on the motherboard makes everything look much cleaner.

Was recognized right off the bat while doing a clean Win 10 install and this sucker boots up in around 6 seconds. It's insane!

The Samsung 960 Pro is proof that performance in benchmarks != performance that humans can detect. That being said, the warranty helps to offset buyer's remorse somewhat.

Expensive but boy is it fast. OS is installed and boot up is near instant.

This is great for the price. highly recommended. make sure to install your system (Windows 10 pro for my machine) in UEFI and not the old BIOS mode to get the extra fast boot up. I'm astounded b y the boot-up speed. seems to be around four to six seconds after the BIOS-UEFI.

My first M.2, could never go back to something slower for the OS drive. Runs at full advertised speed.
