Pros + Completely passive (no fans on the motherboard) + Gorgeous looks + Right angle connectors + 10GB Ethernet + Comes with a plethora of extras (RGB Fan commander etc.)

Cons - The LEDs on the motherboard are rather dull; at full brightness, they are visible, but barely - Half of the heatsink has to be removed if you want to install more than one M.2 SSD - The six pin accessory power on the bottom of the motherboard is not right angle. This means that you cannot install practically any card in the bottom slot without modding the card or without a special right angle adapter (which is not included).

HOLY CRAP BATMAN. THis board is insane. Yes it's expensive, yes it's overkill, yes it's ridiculous to spend this on a board, but it is fantastic. Worked out of the box with Ryzen 9 Zen2 3950X - Ports are mostly on the right - which was amazing and made cable management that much better. The LEDs aren't very bright - but I have enough RGB in here to blind an alien so maybe that's why they look Dim? BIOS is GREATLY upgraded from previous versions. I'm on F11 now and it is fast and smooth. I liked the extender cables that came with - and the lack of IO shield as it's made so well was nice.

it is super freaking heavy though - never had a oard way so much - but the whole thing is essentially a heatsink with armor everywhere as there's no fan - so that's why it's heavy. AND SILENT.

    Overall amazing board so far.

I believe X570 will be the flagship chipset for both 3rd gen and 4th gen Ryzen (also the last flagship chipset for Socket AM4), similar to X399 being the chipset for 1st gen and 2nd gen Ryzen Threadripper. I plan to start streaming occasionally after moving to a larger apartment after a couple of years, so an upgrade to 16-core 4th gen Ryzen processor is already in the 1st place of my wish list. So, this MB's direct 16-phase VRM design attracted me to make this investment.

Great board, but very expensive. It is absolutely packed with features though, and the build quality, feel and look of it is just insane. I have knocked off a star because unfortunately the software does not do the board justice, and that is a huge shame. I am not really hopeful that the situation will improve either because this has been an issue with Gigabyte for years now.

from completed build It was a good time to upgrade

I'm loving this motherboard, I'm in the process of seeing up a home network and am really excited about 10g being natively supported. No fan on X570 is also a pretty big deal, the whole board is basically one big heat sink. So much connectivity,a nd it's all at right angles down the right side, a dream for cable management. Why haven't I seen something that simple, yet effective before now? The only problem I have is that it only had ONE USB 2.0 hub, what the h*** is that

from completed build First Build and PC

Need to remove one star for the stupid price but its definitely one thing i would instantly buy again. The board is so feature rich, looks absolutely outstanding (best in class at the moment imo) and the passive cooling is just a gift. Sidemounted connecters look great and i just couldnt find a fault.

from completed build Ryzen 3800X Durable Build

undeniably high quality. Hard to install because it is so heavy and has no sensible point to lift it by. The software utilities are clunky as always but the actual build is high end. Only concern is the built in heatsink for the NVMe is not making good contact with the SSDs - i removed the heatsink and used a dedicated one for my primary SSD, but the other may not get the cooling I'd hope.
