Currently running Windows 10 Pro, no price as it was an upgrade from Windows 8.1, which was part of another build. No real issues to speak of, I know a lot of people have had problems upgrading but mine went without a hitch.
no issues. pretty decent os.
So far so good.
Gah! It's Windows. Still this is better than 8. There's some confusion as it tries to provide both the new and old ways of doing things, like the Control Panel, for instance.
No crashes yet, but I have found myself restarting because of flaky behavior with the optical drive once, and with a game starting up. Overall, it does mostly what it ought, and little of what ought to not.
Linux would be ideal, but driver compatibility is an outstanding issue. It'll likely come around with Steam's OS initiative. Until then, compatibility between my laptop and desktop matters and, as much as Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is great, I was getting tired playing with Wine and having to micromanage drivers.
Ehh, its Windows 10 Pro. What can I say xD. We all have used a version of a Windows OS before. Its good. 5/5 lol
I have Windows 8.1 Pro but buying 10 Pro for that price was a win/win deal for me.
Best windows since 7. #NoRagrets :P
Obviously at the time of the review this OS is merely a few months old and there are some bugs for Microsoft to smooth out but nevertheless for a new rolling-release type system it is reasonably stable and very efficient; the seamless updates are a big bonus as well.
Windows 7 and 8 users should feel relatively at home with this OS given that they be willing to contribute a little time to explore the few existing differences between the systems.
Efficiency of CPU and GPU usage noticeably increased compared to Windows 8.1.
Way better than windows 8.1 with all the features you miss from 7. Upgrade for free if you have 7/8.1 (before July 2016) and you will not be disappointed.
