240hz vs 60hz is a life and death difference. I got it for $290, and you can set the refresh rate to whatever you want. However, the base refresh rate is 60hz, and took me 15 minutes to figure out how to get it to 240. The TN panel color is really average for a TN panel at 60hz, but at 240hz, it actually improves. Thanks to the packaging company, I found it with a huge dent at the top of the box, and now have 3 dead pixels at the bottom.

from completed build First PC Build

There is a very noticeable difference between 60 and 240 Hz, don't let anybody tell you that "Your eyes can't see it" or any of this nonsense. 144 Hz+ is the way to go. This monitor looks good, has good connections, and a helpful GUI. Make sure to connect it with a DisplayPort cable if you want 240 Hz, as a HDMI only goes to 144.
