Fully modular, 80+ gold, what more could you ask for? 550w is perfectly fine for most machines these days so this PSU was a no brainer.

This is a good PSU. It has good quality cables and is fully modular too. You are paying for the packaging though as it comes with two bags. 1 for the PSU itself and the other for the cables.

from completed build 48TB Home Server (JayP NAS 2.1)

I'm rating this as a standalone PSU but including some commentary on my situation.

Overall, like every other Corsair PSU I've owned, it's great. I went for an 80+ Gold certified PSU for this build since it's a home server running 24/7 and I wanted to keep efficiently up to help with the power bill.

A note to the wise: Initially I put this PSU in a Silverstone CS380 case, paired with a "traditional server motherboard" where the motherboard's 24 pin and 8 pin power adapters are "above" the CPU instead of to the CPU's right. That was a problem as the included cables aren't long to reach that far. In ANY traditional setup, the PSU's cables are perfectly fine. This is only a problem in a truly monstrously huge case, cases that aren't designed well (the Silverstone), or badly chosen parts list like a Full ATX tower and a Mini-ITX motherboard.

Good power supply with black sleeved cables and not hearable / ZERO noise.

Great modular, 80+ gold power supply, especially considering the price i obtained it for.

    from completed build Symbiote [V]

It's a high quality power supply and I had no issues with it. I bought this as a replacement for a brand new Seasonic Focus G that was faulty. The cables in my opinion could be much better as they are really thick. The sata power could use an additional plug to make it 4 per cable. Limiting it to 3 that are very close to each other is pointless unless youre plugging in stacked drives.

Fitted into my Fractal Design Focus G Mini case easily. Fully modular was a real pleasure to work with. No issues.

Fan-off when idle. So far so good. Powers my mITX build with a GTX 1070.
