AVG responds to utility software

I have FINALLY gotten my system up and running with updated BIOS and a shiny new dedicated graphics card. I am now getting round to installing utilities from Gigabyte's site, such as AppCenter. Only problem is AVG is convinced AppCenter (despite being directly off the Gigabyte site) is malware. Should I dismiss it?

Should I dismiss it?

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: if you know what you're doing, you probably don't need to listen to what your antivirus tells you.

I was very careful not to install it. I'd had trouble with that kind of thing before.
