GPU for Cyberpunk 2077?

Hi! About two months ago I upgraded my PC, sadly I didn't had enough money for a new GPU back then so I ended up using my old 970.

I managed to save enough for a 1660ti, but I can afford a 2060 super too, should I buy the 2060 or just go with the 1660ti and wait until the new Nvidia cards are released? I don't mind playing at 1080p because I have a 144hz 1080p monitor.

If you don't mind horrible drivers I would go with the RX 5700XT ($400). This card is better than the RTX 2070 ($500) and even ties with the 2070 Super (also $500). For your budget, I would go with the 5700XT, however I'm aware that Cyberpunk will feature Ray Tracing (Only available on RTX cards) so I would recommend the RTX 2060 Super.

Power Color Red Devil RX 5700XT (if you feel you absolutely must buy today)

However, I would wait closer to April 2020 since the Devs for CyberPunk 2077 haven't even released the minimum/recommended game specs as yet. What this means is you still have time to keep saving even more money to stave off any potential buyer's remorse, just in case AMD's new (officially UNannounced) high-end NAVI cards get released sooner rather than later. At CES 2020, AMD CEO Lisa Su confirmed that this year's GPU lineup will indeed have Ray Tracing in their top tier cards.

The current GPUs on the market will no doubt see a price drop, so for now what's the big rush?

Get a 1660 Super, almost the same as a 1660 Ti but cheaper. Use that for a while until the AMD RX cards get their driver issues ironed out.

The 1660 Super is a very good 1080p card.
