Looking between RX 590/580 8gb, RX 5500XT and GTX 1660. I've read a lot of info and read some posts just looking for input before I do it. So this PC is a lil dated but it's going strong. Original parts list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/48qkcf.

the 5500xt performance is between the 590 /580. 590 is just an overclocked 580. 1660 super is the top value.. and dont get a gpu today with anything less than 6gb of vram. so a 580 on the lower end of the budget or 1660 super on the higher end

Is a 1660 super just a OC'd 1660?

1660 or 5500 xt will fit there nicely, but you would take relatively more fps out of the 1660.
