5700xt drivers

I'm thinking of getting a 5700xt but I've heard things about driver issues causing games to be unplayable. Do these issues still exist or have they been resolved. I'm wondering because I would rather not have to spend the extra 120$ for a 2070 super just so I don't have to deal with not being able to play games. Money that I would like to use for other things if I can.

Driver issues still continue.

The hardware issues with Navi do as well.

Steve at Gamers Nexus just blindsided the AMD people at the CES Q&A with a list of repeatable issues going back to Vega FE and having been working with them on this from them without fixes being rolled out.

Fixes might be on the way then at least for drivers but at this kind of money buying into a maybe fixed isn't something I would do.

If you want AMD and don't need now hold off till next generation.

I'll be buying around late july to early maybe mid August.

I would keep on eye on how things develop closer to then.

Maybe AMD addresses the issues completely, or maybe this is just how this generation will be.

Both could also be replaced by then making these two choices obsolete.

It wouldn't surprise me.
