Wanting to Upgrade My GPU

Hey I want to upgrade to a more powerful gpu, but I also don't want to buy a card that isn't compatible or doesn't run well with my specs.

Was wondering if I could get insight from others since I only know very basic knowledgeable on building pc's etc. (I was thinking of upgrading to a GTX 1660 6GB since it seems to be a very powerful card)

Here are my specs CPU: i7 2700k - 3.50ghz RAM: 16GB Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH Z77 (LGA1155) GPU: 4096MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 380 Series (Gigabyte)

If you can afford a 1660, try the new 1660S then.

I'll definitely look into it. Will it fit my motherboard?
