Bright RGB strips for behind/under my desk?

Any recommendations? Browsing around some people mentioned the Phillips Hue strips, Amazon led strips, and even strips from Alibaba. I am confused on what to go for? I want some bright LEDs that can last a long time, not cheap ones where they fall off or stop working after some time, any personal recommendations you guys recommend?

The basic Amazon reel's do fine, just control it with a remote. I used them for ages, nice price to light ratio (okay not a proper ratio). Worked fine for ages, may need to stick down with stronger double sided stuff in some spots. Most those sorts of kits all use the same type of RGB strip and similar controller.

Moved to Hue as I set up my pad that way more recently, but its expensive for what it is. It does work neat and can with the Hue app on your PC, sync the lighting to what is on screen. Can be very cool. Some new systems like NZXT Hue 2 does this also, but all these systems cost a fair bit more then some basic LED strip from amazon.
