I built my computer not to long ago and I'm already wondering what I should upgrade. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Potatogamer1230/saved/yvhHhM thats my current part list and this is what I want to upgrade too. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Potatogamer1230/saved/#view=q6L6sY the stuff that isent marked as purchased is what I would be buying. I also have some questions. I want to get a ssd as my boot drive but im not sure how I would get windows in it and off the hardrive. Also what graphics card should I get? I was thinking like a 1070 or somthing better but I'm not sure.

without a monitor upgrade, the best gpu upgrade would be a gtx 1060 6g, rx580/590. A 1070 or above would be wasted with that monitor. It would be pumping out more frames than it could even show you. So save that money and get a bigger ssd. that 120gb will be gone fast.

The for ryzen, you typically want 3000mhz or more but i think 2666 would be the bare minimum.

also, I would look into getting a better PSU.

and windows, I would just do a clean install, but thats just me.

I'm probably gonna get a 590 then. I only plan on using the ssd as a boot drive and for all of my startup programs but you're right I should get a bigger one. I was told that 2666 ram was okay for ryzen as long as I wasn't using the vega 8 graphics on it but I performs well so far for me anyway. I do plan on getting a better hopefully modular psu, I got that one because it came as a bundle with my ryzen 3 for a lot cheaper. Thanks for taking time to look at my parts list.

the cheapest 590 is about $30 more than the cheapest 580. I would just get the 580 and save money, They are basically the same card with the 590 having an overclock.

yeah I found that out not too long ago and changed my mind to a 580.
