Emptying case of non-essentials?

Hello,

I was wondering whether emptying the case of non-essential parts is best practice? In my particular situation, I have a Fractal R6 case. It is far larger than I need and contains, for example, many 3.5" drive holders which I don't need. Should I basically strip the case of any piece of metal which can come out and which I am not using?

I really don’t see why you would need to take them out, just more likely to lose them.

That's what the case box is for

Taking out the drive bays is actually supported by the case, and is good for airflow

If you take out the drive bays you can move the front metal panel covering up the drive bays from the left side to the right side of the case. This will give it a cleaner look and much more airflow.
