I’m looking for gaming headphones with good directional accuracy preferably under 100 dollars. A mic is not necessary but if it has one it’s ok. Would appreciate any recommendations. I don’t think I will get a sound card, I will be using Crystal Sound 3 from my Z390 motherboard

/w mic: HyperX Cloud Core, Cloud II, or Cloud Alpha

w/o mic: to many options to list without narrowing it down: open or closed back? bass emphasized? treble emphasized? mid emphasized? neutral? a little warm? a little ariry?

Open backed, preferably a warm sound. Thank you for the help :)

Sennheiser HD559

What is difference between these and the 558

The 559 is a refresh of the 558, has slightly cleaner bass (which you need a digital testing setup to discern) and is otherwise the 558. But since the 558 is no longer in production, prices have gone up for it. But the 559 is otherwise the direct same-sounding replacement for it.

I second the cloud line.

HyperX Cloud II is a great find. Try it out. It costs around $100.
