GPU cooling modding

Anyone know of any aftermarket cooling kits that will work on a MSI RX 580 Armor MK1?

I have replaced the TIM on it, but would love a much better cooling solution. It works as is, but not as well as I would prefer.

Most aftermarket cooling for GPU is based on the reference PCB. From the look that card uses a custom PCB. You could still give this a try though.

There might be other models on there as well that will fit your card. You could also try to give it a custom solution using an AIO.

This is a pretty good guide on how to do it. You will want to be careful about cooling the VRM since those will probably get neglected by the AIO. You can buy passive heatsinks for your VRMs off of ebay or amazon

I do nor know if its worth taking the gamble if a $90 part will or not work.

You can get it and see if it works, if it does keep it, if it doesn't return it. You could check Craigslist or Facebook to see if anyone is selling a cooler or AIO that you can use since it will most likely be cheaper. You can also check ebay to see if that cooler is cheaper so it isn't as much to invest. When it comes down to it though if you want to mod your components you will need to take some risks, not only with money, but with the continuing functionality of your components.
