cpu over temperature error

ZeroXIII

I got this message today - cpu over temperature error. I thought it had to do with the thermal paste and I decided to change it but it still gives me the same error.

Do you think my radiator has died?

this is my part list https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/ZeroXIII/builds/

The watercooler i'm using is the h45 not the one on the list.

Does the radiator still get warm/hot? Sounds like the pump might have failed.

Whats your CPU temp?

I booted the pc and saw the temp constantly increase from 45 to 99. I think it might be a pump failure.

99

That's not a normal CPU temperature. Do replace the cooling radiator before you permanently damage your CPU. I would say to avoid using the computer until your new CPU cooler arrives.
