Why are Blue switches so cheap?

I have been looking at keyboards, and I noticed that when I browse mechanical keyboards from lowest to highest price, the first 10 or so entries all have bird-brand Blue switches. Many of the same brands also make Red or Brown switches, but they are all upwards of $100, whereas Blue starts at $40.
If anyone knows why Blue is so cheap (or all the other switches are so expensive), I would appreciate clarification! Thanks.

I'm gonna guess that the blue switches are easier to replicate to make them sound and feel like the cherry blues

My best guess is that cherry blues are preferred by a solid amount of gamers and so that makes the off brand blues attractive at such a low price point. Then you have the ones made for people who type all of the time and think they need a specialty key switch but still want the off brand and don't want to pay the on brand full price.

I prefer blues for that crunchy tactile click, feels good man.

Since its so popular it also most likely is copied the most.

Yeah, I love Blues too, but idk why they're so cheap. Or everything else is so expensive.

Maybe just what the manufacturers decide, idk man.....................
