"-1 slot spacing" HB sli bridge

Wi1dCard

The 1080 ti with a water block can be made a single slot card. I'd like to use the vertical mount in the case I'm looking at, but like most included vertical mounts, it only has two pcie slots. I could technically fit both cards in, but I don't think there's any way of putting them in sli, since the smallest bridge I could find has a 1 slot gap in the middle. With a flexible bridge, I could fold it up and 3d print a cover, but I don't think there are any soft HB sli bridges. Thoughts?

Umm.... Careful. I assume you are getting the idea from an LTT video.

That said, I believe (don't quote me) that 2 old soft SLI bridges can be combined into one high-bandwith one.

Single slot 1080 ti isn't a sketchy idea, if you replace the founders edition cooler with a water block it becomes a one slot card since there are no display connectors on the second pcie slot.

As for the two soft bridges, I hear that occasionally they slack in performance compared to HB bridges but I'll ponder my options.

Ok. Go ahead!
