RAM Speed / Board Compatibility

Hey,
I got the Asus Strix B-350F Gaming for a good deal and was wondering if the RAM I bought will operate at its advertized 3200 speed.
If it needs to be OC, is that safe to do?

You will need to overclock the RAM, but the profile is already built in and set for the listed paremeters. It will be set up so you just need to enable XMP / D.C.O.P in the bios. As to actually working, that specific kit is not listed, but I would think you should be okay (but not guaranteed) with updates to better support higher speed kits.

If the PC fails to boot after enabling XMP / D.C.O.P, I would just manually lower the frequency to 2933 MHz (next divider down)

No guarantees you will hit 3200MHz. Its very possible it will downclock to 2933 or even as low as 2666
