So I wanted an rgb 1070 variant and since i already am getting an asus motherboard i decided to see if the asus strix would work, however the card is slightly too long to put in without removing any drive bays. I only need 2-3 drive bays will I have to remove more or should i just get a new card.

Based off of the pictures that Newegg supplies it looks like you'll have access to at least 2 drive bays with a long GPU.

So you think I'll be able to put one ssd and one hdd inside because that's really all I need?

Yes.

You only need to think of the HDD placement, there are SSD brackets in the back compartment of the case used for cable management.
