Bitfenix Prodigy M fitting questions

I hope that someone who has the above casing could enlighten me a few questions regarding fitting of components

I do know the clearance between the PSU might affect the size of GPU that can be mounted into the casing

I have a non modular PSU fron Vantech ION2+ which is rated at 500W and the casing is on it way.

so the question is what is the highest possible GPU which I can fit into the casing with non modular PSU the one that I have currently? I am aiming for a R9 280X using non referenced coolers which are 2 .5 slots wide.

I don't want to have a nasty surprise when the GPU which i have bought can't fit into the casing.

Thanks in advance
