So my original machine had an intel i5 and matching mobo, but I decided to switch to AMD. I didn't reinstall Win10. I just kind of transferred everything over and powered up successfully. However, after a day of everything running smooth, my OS is taking forever to load up. Before, everything would load immediately (thanks SSD), but now I just get a black screen after logging into my user. It takes up to about 10 minutes for my icons, background and taskbar to show up. I've also noticed a few little things along with this issue. I've noticed that my videos, games, etc feel very very choppy. I reinstalled the drivers for my GPU, but no such luck yet. I haven't tried restoring the system to a time before the upgrades were put together, but I'm heavily considering it at this point.
Should I have bit the bullet and put on a clean copy of Win10, or is this a potential issue with my mobo or CPU?
