Should I be looking at another AIO cooler for this particular case? I've been reading that a 240mm might not fit this case? Not sure... Also, if there's a wicked price drop in the i5-6600k, would it be worth dropping down from Z270 to Z170 and get a less expensive build overall?

I'd like to keep the budget at around 1,750$ CAD and the intent of the build is: 80% games; 20% Adobe Illustrator. My display is an ASUS VA32AQ 31.5" 2K (2560x1440) and I'd like to game at high/very high settings @ 60fps. Games might include: Witcher 3, RE7, BF1, SC2, Diablo III, Civ 6, Far cry (the lot).

Any thoughts (on any part of the build, not just my questions) would be great :)

Cheers!

Not sure about the 16gb, good point. Just figured it could be useful given the AAA titles i intend to play - Also, I'm a UI/UX designer and I've seen Illustrator EAT ram like candy.

Also, a 220$ case? Yep. love this case and it fits the decor of my home office really well. Also, I have a Husky at home (sheds like mad) so the tower will be on my desk, not on the floor - hidden from view. I want a nice looking case. :)

Hadn't looked at the 525gb mx300, thanks for the pro tips!

In your opinion, do you think it's required to have a larger AIO cooler if I intend to OC? Or would the smaller one do the job?

I was asking if it's worth - specifically - if I get a 6th gen instead. :)
