Mic: Modmic 4.0 uni
sound card: onboard Realtek HD audio (Gigabyte Z97 board)
Mic is high quality, good frequency response. There is a ton of background noise though, and my room is dead silent. My PC runs at about 20-30 dba under my desk, and the mic is naturally good at sound isolation. It's the electrical interference for sure, but I just want some confirmation from the PCPP community :)
Any tips on solving? USB sound cards/adapters any good? I've seen $5-8 Sabrent adapters that are apparently effective. I just need something to eliminate the static.
