Hi guys,

I'm looking for a headset (with microphone) for CS:GO, nothing sophisticated, any recommendations please? For the price... as low as possible I'll say :)

Thanks.

Get a Koss KSC-75 ($15), and a sony clip on mic ($17). Will blow away anything for the same price.

I have this Zalman Clip on mic and it is perfect.

Which one? From what I can tell it uses a 3.5mm jack.

Somehow I screwed up the words there...

What I should have said is that you may need some kind of additional power source to bring out the mic's potential.

having & using the sony clip directly connected to motherboards on board audio and people say its clear although picks up background noise, now i haven't used it with phantom power so i don't know if it will sound better or remove background noise but it is still clear without one

The sentey artix is an awesome headset. I think it's only sold on amazon

I would avoid anything Sentey

Really why?

overly flashy design, cheaply built, poor sound quality.

Superlux 668B. I'm suprised no ones mentioned them! Great bang for the buck, add a Sony mic or a Zalman clip on and it's under $50

Virtual 7.1 is leaps and bounds better than 7.1. 7.1 has very tiny drivers which won't deliver any sort of good audio. Might as well call them surround sound earbuds
