The stream is over - thanks everyone for joining us!

Join us Thursday at 2pm CST for a live Q&A and build with NZXT! We'll be discussing and building with their new Manta mini-ITX case.

We'll be taking questions during the stream, so please hop in and join the chat.

(Note: some of the build parts were ones we had on hand - i.e. you don't really need a 1000W PSU for this build.)

Hummm... intriguing.

jipster might make an appearance :-)

kentcsnyder 1 point 15 months ago

Sweet looking case. Never seen one of those before, is that a relatively new case by NZXT?

I relay like this case though its a giant case for mitx board.

khevo4g 1 point 15 months ago

No doubt. If you put together a Mini ITX rig with this monstrosity it can double as a boat anchor. Kind of looks like a Mercury outboard anyhow.

And one dude in the video comments about wanting to drop it (full of components) to see how it holds up. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Hopefully that benchmark won't catch on.

I will be building my Mini ITX rig with a case that won't be giving me a hernia. The only thing this case has going for it is the fan header.

Ropota 3 points 15 months ago

and then my comment gets deleted by staff when i just voiced my opinion on how this case is not worth the price. wow. $140 case is still not worth it.

spymamma22 2 points 15 months ago

This is serious pc **** for me

h0wl 4 points 15 months ago

watch yo profamity

spymamma22 1 point 15 months ago

haha! XD

dillonpaige 2 points 15 months ago

That is Absolutely sexy as hell

Valiant_ 2 Builds 2 points 15 months ago

Im not a mini ITX fan but thats one Nice looking case. But not worth the price.

piemancoder 1 point 15 months ago

Maybe this will finally be the ITX case I need. Since I'm probably going to miss about an hour, can I post my questions here? Or will it be significantly longer than an hour?

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 2 points 15 months ago

It'll definitely run longer than an hour, but how much so I don't know offhand. The first part will be an overview and Q&A, and then we'll transition to the build. If I had to guess, we'll probably start the build about 30 minutes in. We'll archive the video to Youtube so you can always catch it later too. But if you want to leave questions here, feel free and I'll make sure they are relayed to manirelli for the stream. (I can't guarantee we'll be able to answer everything due to time constraints, but I'll make sure they all get seen.)

Phillip.Phillip 1 point 15 months ago

Should we just post questions here, or would you prefer a private message? I can't wait for this!

BoyScout staff 9 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Feel free to post questions here or in the youtube chat if you are able to join it live.

piemancoder 1 point 15 months ago

I missed it, but if possible can you ask if the windows are tinted on any colors?

dillonpaige 1 point 15 months ago

But I personally would not use a mini atx case

dillonpaige 1 point 15 months ago

ITX*

Phillip.Phillip 1 point 15 months ago

You guys mentioned that each side panel weighs 4-5 pounds. How much does the entire case weigh? Is it portable?

Muhkyle 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

NICE SURFACE PRO 3 REPRESENT

MoraMartin98 1 point 15 months ago

can this case fit a full size graphics card like that of a GTX 980ti or 980ti MAtrix?

Phillip.Phillip 1 point 15 months ago

Without a problem.

ComputerSaysNo 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

Can you post parts list?

EdInk 10 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

This is one very pretty case and I like it modular properties, the softened lines really make it endearing and very contemporary... keep up the good work guys! love it.

ÐËÄÐPÖÖL 1 point 15 months ago

I love the case...one suggestion would be for the Fury X Rad......it could have been mounted on the lower front if you had removed the fan that was currently there and placed it on the outside under the front dust filter. This is actually a dual purpose move as it now makes the config a push/pull or you can just make it a push.

Hamza1299 1 point 15 months ago

When will it be in Eastern Time?

herefordacontest 1 point 15 months ago

As much as I love this case, I myself just can't justify buying it for a mini ITX build considering how large and expensive it is, even if it is the greatest thing since pre-sliced bread. Still love dat look doe.

shanepl 1 point 15 months ago

Great looking case though it is quite big for being a mini-itx.

Hidden308 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

I would love to build a new PC with this case, but I am to poor right now to build anything nice. It took me 2 years to get the i7-4790k and duel 980s build I have now by buying a few parts at a time. :(

Lex_B 1 point 14 months ago

Hmm. That's a pretty interesting looking case, Philip!

MacGoreth 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

awesome post :) helped me a lot with my first build :) :) cheers!

ArgyleBuilds 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

I want to build in one of these so bad.

HATAFI 1 point 13 months ago

Hey ho

inigoose 1 point 13 months ago

Can you put the radiator for the H105 where the fans are (the place above the frame)?

SleepyIX 1 point 13 months ago

That is one nice case!

Tinyds 1 point 11 months ago

That sounds really expensive for a Fury X build. Wouldn't it be more sensible to use something like this?

Chris1212 0 points 14 months ago

https://www.paypal.me/Chrislxnz Ahem.. anyone wanna drop some doe on me for dat case lol? drop as much as u want

Come on, have some respect.

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 3 points 15 months ago

I understand how you perceived it. If you want to criticize build choices, that's fine. But don't come here and insult someone's intelligence.

theNeybor -1 points 15 months ago

I wasn't necessarily criticizing the NZXT representative. As I've said, he seems like a nice guy, but I was just sharing my opinion without any intention to hurt anyone's feeling.

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 2 points 15 months ago

You were insulting his intelligence. Whether it's staff, a company representative, or another user here, that's no ok here. Cool?

Z3ROWOLFHD 1 Build -3 points 15 months ago

I agree

Ropota 1 point 15 months ago

And we get down voted for common sense. Lol. The case is way to big for it being a itx case, not all that great and sure not worth more than $80. Even the corsair 380t is a better case than this and $20 cheaper while being super portable.

We had the sound cranked up pretty good actually. But we'll iterate on it and make it a bit louder next time.
