For the new Z170 / Skylake release we were joined by JJ from Asus to show off some new hardware. This build showcases the new Core i5-6600K CPU, Asus Maximus VIII Gene Motherboard, and Asus GTX 970 Turbo GPU.

Huge thanks go out to Asus and JJ for coming out and helping us out with this build!

(And yes, I touched the CPU pins. I know. If you've watched previous builds of mine, you'll know I'm normally very careful about that.)

really nice build! I'd love to see some benches on that Predator SSD, as there aren't that many out there.

Whenever I look at these build videos I always just stare at how nimble, thin and long their fingers are. Yes, I know that's sort of creepy, no need to tell me.

Cool build, hopefully you do more in that awesome new set!

Btw how do you like the apple watch Philip?

LOL it's nice, but that's the last time I'll build with that thing on. Nothing like having your calendar appointments show up on video in lovely 4K resolution. Our first build took a LOT longer to film than it should have - and that shows up if you watch the time on it in various shots.

How is the power supply?

Curious why did you go with 4x4gb mem instead of 2x8?
