Description

I had plan on building a system similar to this (minus the custom loop) but I won this build from a GleamIO contest ran by BeQuiet!, ModMyMods, and Modders Inc.

Only things that I added to the build were the Phanteks LED strips and G.Skill RAM (From my old 5820k rig).

I was able to overclock the CPU to 4.5 Ghz and the RTX 2080 to 1955 Mhz boost

Temps on the CPU fluctuate around 36 - 39 C idle and while gaming anywhere from 55 to 60 C

The RTX 2080 is a beast!

Coming from a 2070 I did not think I would see much improvement, but most games average 144 FPS or more on max.

I have a 4 monitor setup and my main monitor is a ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q 24.5” with G-Sync (1080p).

The gen 4 NVME drive is stupid fast!

Temps get a little warm around 52 C but within manufacture limits.

I do plan on upgrading the CPU and GPU in the near future ( I saved and resold my old RTX 2070 and other parts i no longer needed plus the money I saved for my new build).

I do plan to upgrade the GPU first then the CPU as 8 cores seems to be enough for the moment ( originally planned to build with a 3950x but this dropped in my lap) and hopefully Zen 3 will be on AM4 socket.

They look spectacular! Thanks.

I love how clean the cables look, going off to left as straight as can be. Kudos!
