Description

So I decided to take my other completed build and swap everything into the Thermaltake Core X5. This case is massive. I didn’t realize it was this big. My printer at work is the same size. Anyway I love it and plenty of space to upgrade and eventually install a custom loop.

I'm not sure there is enough room inside that case, it might be a little cramped ;)

what are you doing with the rest of that warehouse your motherboard is mounted to?

I know right? And that’s a full ATX mobo, I feel like I should undo all my cable management just to take up some space.

With that much space I would use all the empty volume at the front to jury rig a coffee machine. You have no use for the front bays anyways, might has well cut a space for a coffee mug and control the brewer with a RPi (installed inside, so much space).

What kind of lighting are you using for the interior of the case?

I believe it was just a $15 rgb strip and controller off Newegg.

LOGISYS Computer LDXRM12C RGB LED Strip and IR Control.

I just moved my build into an M1 from Ncase. I could fit like 9 of my build in your case. you had better do some extravagant water cooling loop to fill that when you do it.

That’s the master plan.

Thanks for uploading this. I bought a Core X9 Snow Edition (by accident to be fair) and frankly I have been too scared to start building in it, the thing is stupidly big. But with your photographs I think I have a good idea on what to do in terms of cable management and modding. +1

Lol you should nickname that case the white house! Such a massive case. It's honestly half as big as my current desk haha.
