Why Niji? Cuz I'm a stupid weeb and I think Niji is like Japanese for rainbow or somthing and this is an RGB build.
Why are you using Maxwell gpus? Why not. I still have them and they are still great gpus I don't have much of a reason to upgrade yet.
This is my PC I just recently built. I built this more for editing and rendering not so much for gaming. It didn't prove that much more effective for gaming then my old PC (but its fine because gaming is not its sole purpose) and I wish I could have got a 7820x instead So i could have a fast 8 core and not a 6 core , i just could not find a great price on one and missed out on a great deal for a used one because i was second guessing myself, so I'll probably sell this CPU whenever a fasterer 8 core cpu comes out. This PC is new except for the gpus which are still great cards, the power supply which I was using in my old pc and the monitor, which i have had for about 8 months now. Everything else is new.
I ended up delidding the cpu and wanted to try to get a good oc
on it but i guess i am not very lucky because i was only able to get 4.9ghz.
fixed an issue with cam adjusting speed according to coolant temps and not cpu. changing this dropped temps a lot and i have been able to push 5ghz and im pretty happy now and may try to push 5.1
Built for 2 reasons 1.) Wanted a workstation / rendering PC 2.) I had the extra funds and finally wanted to make a PC that looked really nice because I could afford to put more money into it's looks
I'm really happy with how this PC came out looking, but the amount of cables produced by all the RGB stuff is unbearable I don't think I'll go full RGB in the future again. Just too many cables
biggest problem is that all 3 corsair 120mm rgb fans where suppose to be on the top of the case, but the cpu power cable blocked one from fitting so i threw it in the front of the case on one of the gpu radiators. does not look as good as if it was all neat in a line at the top but whatever
will never buy a kraken cooler again, it looks cool but the software pretty much loses it for me, nzxt cam is a joke. Plus the wierd way it mounts with the braket having some wierd spacing caused it to not rest properly on the cpu so i was getting 75 degrees idle and it went way past 100 on load. I had to re seat it several times. it looks cool though...
Its a decent case but it gets a lot of flack because i think people just over hyped it to somthing it wasnt (people saying its a HAF series case even though it is not). It was exactly what i was expected so i enjoy the case. it should probably be a bit cheaper, like $120 and it does have a few litlle issues but its a decent case and looks nice.
bought this and the schiit fulla 2 to compare them, and in terms of sound quality these come out on top and the lighting fits my build, the software is pretty finicky though but actually bearable compared to nzxt cam so i dont mind. just make sure to set youre speakers or headphones to "Direct" mode because it bypasses the software and sounds better (i think so at least) unless you need software enhancements like the virtual surround.
i get flack for getting these over the Sennheiser HD 598 but i tried both and didnt really like the sennheiser ones. The trebble on these are a little higher then i would like but they still sound great and are the second most comortable headphones i have ever worn. Main problem is the wing support flaps are too loose and fall down on my head so i had to fixate it with a rubber band.
I fell in love with these the minute i tried them, best speakers I have ever used.
