That awkward moment when your CPU costs more than my entire rig. Or my car...

BetrayedPredator 6 points 11 months ago

That moment when OP uses an outdated CPU instead of the 7900x which is $950 and has better performance

and 64gb of RAM because why not go overkill

even video editing really doesn't demand 64gb of RAM

Most parts build 2016 just decided to watercool it 2018 ;)

This build will upgrade continuously for sure but not yearly.

Perhaps maybe every 5 years.

pabloroja 1 Build 5 points 11 months ago

Your jet engine is burning red hot in that first photo.

Someone get the beers, because that cooler is ICE COLD.

Pardon me while I pick my jaw off the floor.

10/10 for terse description, would TL/DR again. LOL. 8)

Well done, we are in awe.

How the heck does someone even afford all this!?

BetrayedPredator 4 points 11 months ago

Well paying job and time to save?

Also hobbies, if gaming is your main hobby then it makes sense to drop a lot on a top of the line PC

If you can afford it

Leleedler 2 Builds -3 points 11 months ago

None of this makes sense, that's the point. This build is overkill, most likely just because it can be.

BetrayedPredator 2 points 11 months ago

Yeah that’s the point? To be overkill and run everything

Leleedler 2 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Exactly!

I was about to ask the same question. I had to do a double take when I saw the price.

I believe they're typically called "jobs".

Nice build! +1 Ignore the people saying, "The build is soooo expensive." It's your build, your money. No one even knows what you're doing with the PC. If it's for Roblox, so be it. Again, awesome build. 10/10

Thanks! AMD ryzen next project for wife!

1st time? Job well done! :)

What's the machine used for?

themoosemessiah 6 Builds 6 points 11 months ago

Minecraft with Shaders

whiteblizzard007 6 points 11 months ago

but its limited to low quality because task manager is running and it's a demanding game.

lupskups submitter 1 Build 2 points 11 months ago

Primarily gaming/streaming and photoshop.

Rezna 1 Build 2 points 11 months ago

This is the first time I have seen a build of such price. Normally I am only interested in budget builds and first actual builds but wow......

Are you a high ranking worker? A youtuber? A person who knows how to use money? I mean I am taken back, like wow.

thebream 1 point 11 months ago

Lol you must be new. I myself am only here for the expensive watercooled builds.

macetotheface 2 points 11 months ago

This might be a dumb question, but I know nothing about water cooling. Are those filters at the bottom of the reservoirs?

lupskups submitter 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

those are anti cyclone/bubble control

macetotheface 2 points 11 months ago

Kinda cool, thanks!

Fxg412 2 points 11 months ago

Hi, I just have a little question for you, did you have two separeted loop in your build ? I'm not sure with just looking your pictures.

lupskups submitter 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

xX_Black-Lys_Xx 2 points 11 months ago

What is the difference between the OEM/tray and the "Normal" i7 6950x

VictoriusII 1 point 1 month ago

Great build! Is the side panel really as dark as everyone says?
