Description

Using it for gaming and recording. Started off as a budget build and is slowly being upgraded. Some parts are optional but I wanted to go overkill. The FX6300 stock cooler sounds like a jet engine so I had to replace it. My favorite game is Dirty Bomb and it runs at 60 fps on super. The R9 270 is a great card for the price but its fans get really loud at 60+. This is my first build and it was fun.

UPDATE 2/12/16 Decided I might get a little bit brave and got a G10 bracket to mount my H55 onto my R9 270. I added some copper heatsinks to the vram so it wouldn't explode. After 5 hours of tedious work I got it working! A huge difference in cooling which is great and it is very quiet. I ended up spray painting the white NZXT fan blue, so that went well. I might add a CPU cooler in the next month because stock cooler is louder than a vacuum.

UPDATE 2/27/16 I got a bit more cash and added the Hyper tx3 and a extra fan for a push pull configuration. The tx3 is super easy to install for amd chip sets and it is very cold for its price. I might need the h55 mounting kit again because I may have striped the radiator a bit with some screws I got... Other than that it works great!

Update 3/14/16 I stabbed this random guy and got $15. So I spent the money on an another fan for a push pull config on the tx3. I scraped the idea for 2 fans on the radiator because I striped it. I moved the blue led fan to the right and I'am getting way better airflow now.

Update 5/4/16 Got some money to buy a better case. I was looking at the s340 but there were no drive bays so I went with the 200R. It is a little bit bigger than my H22 and it is sooo much better. I mainly got a new case for future water cooling/airflow and it is making a huge difference all together. I removed the drive bay so I could add a fan in the front so that left a problem for my hard drive. I got a 3.5 to 5.25 adapter for the drive so it could fit in the drive bays. Im really happy with this purchase and I might add a fan controller soon. I also traded my old case for the kraken headset and it has really good quality tbh.

Update 5/18/16 Got the sentry mix 2 for the fans. Looks nice and the front led is great.

Update 5/14/17 Messed around in bios and I got the cpu speed to 4.1 Ghz. I don't know how but I did.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Simple and easy installation for amd sockets! Keeps my FX 6300 cold!

Thermal Compound

That little tube goes a long way!

Motherboard

Oldy but a goodie. There is a loud beep every time you start it up though.

Memory

Simple ram. Oc to 1866 no problem.

Video Card

Cheap and simple card! Fans are a bit loud at high temps.

Case

I love this case. Lots of fan placemnts, removable drivebay, filters, and space behind it for cables.

Operating System

Thanks Bill Gates.

Wireless Network Adapter

Have had some trouble with it not detecting or refusing to connect to networks but it works fine now.

Case Fan

Good airflow and color but the dba is not as advertised.

Fan Controller

Simple and easy. The led color changer is a nice touch.

Headphones

Comfortable and sounds amazing with bass boost options and lighting changes. Only complaint is that the white mic tip color can't be changed.

how come you made the H55 as a custom part (it already on pcpp) and why 2 cpu coolers??

You cant add 2 cpu cooler on the same part list. Also I added the h55 on my graphics card and my tx3 on my cpu.
